Location
Regarding location scouting, I went to a few areas in London where I’ve seen a couple of Buskers. I talked to a couple of Buskers to ask them for making my documentary. I get to talk to a young Busker named Riiver, and arranged a time with him for shooting.
It will be a documentary around Piccadilly Circus or Portobello Street. For Iranian music, it will be existing online videos. I also will add texts to the documentary for the introducing scenes and shots.
Props and Wardrobe Preparation
I will use two cameras for Wide and Close-Up shots, a sound recorder for recording the sound, and one tripod for the standing camera. I will use my iPhone and the camera of college for photography, and Final Cut Pro on my laptop for editing and post-production process.
Special Effects Preparation
My documentary will not need any Special Effects process, I will edit and prepare the post-production process on Final Cut Pro though. It will need a few effects on videos and audios which I will use the existing ones in the editing software.
Production Schedule
It will require 1 day for interviewing the Busker in the street. I might film for another day in the 01Studio for the introducing scenes. Also, I will take three weeks for searching and the editing process.
Set Construction
Tripod, tow cameras, and the sound recorder will need to be set up for shooting day in the street. Also, for the 01Studio scenes, I will need to book the studio for one day.
Script / Questions
I wanted to have an introducing scene at the opening of the film. For that, I decided to talk in front of the camera explaining a little about the conditions under which the musicians in Iran are challenging to get permission for releasing their product, also another scene for introducing Busking. I changed it after I did the first editing, I added a couple of text instead. For interview the Busker in the street, I will prepare a couple of questions.
