Task 3: Evaluation

Evaluation of My Photojournalism Work:

Although I have a couple of pictures of the streets, buildings, my pictures are mostly about people. I think when people are photographed, the picture tells a story of their appearance, emotions, and thoughts. I took photos of people passing me on the street either when they were coming towards me or they were getting away as I think the viewer might be curious to know how the subject of the photo looks like. I believe I created a set of pictures which all together would tells a story of people going towards to the future, I would call it “Future has Possibilities”. I regret not be able to take more photos of babies and children as not all parents like me to do that.   Especially when the pattern is a child, I like to close to them to fill the pattern to show the purity and innocence on their faces.

Evaluation of My Skills Development:

To some extend, I have improved my skills in position in photography as I tried to follow the rules I learned by watching the video Valentina sent us  including tips by Steve McCurry.

Also about Diagonal lines, I took a couple of pictures when I put the camera next close to a wall or a bridge. I tried to use the lines to lead the eyes to the picture. It was a good practice and enjoyable.

In summary, I would’ve explored the skilled regarding to the three important aspects in photography: ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed. I do need to work on them and take as much as photographed to get to my wished result.
